Bio: Being an active member of a girl's Christian organization in a Southern Baptist Church, I gave my heart to Jesus at the tender age of nine. My mother had a kind servant's heart and was a constant example of tireless serving throughout my life. When I was in junior high my family attended a small church plant where I taught my first Sunday School class at age 12. My little preschool Sunday School class was just the beginning. Soon after, I was teaching VBS, backyard Bible ministry, mission friends (equal to AWANA Cubbies) and babysitting for church members. When our church plant became a church we built a Child Care Center – that was 1974...needless to say I love what I do. It is such a joy to know God's purpose for my life.
I was blessed with two handsome sons from a former marriage then was a single parent for 7 years before I met and married Artie, the love of my life. Within this marriage we formed a blended family of 5 children (now adults) and 6 grandchildren. Jesus loves 'ME'...and I'm so glad that I have known that all my life!!!
